Dr Ruan is a comprehensive ophthalmologist, cataract, and refractive surgeon. She is committed to delivering exemplary patient outcomes in a caring, respectful and approachable manner.

Dr Ruan graduated with Honours from Medicine and Surgery from the University of New South Wales, Sydney. She was selected for specialist ophthalmology training through the Prince of Wales Hospital where she was appointed Professorial Senior Ophthalmology Registrar. She keeps up to date with current research, actively participates in research, and is a Conjoint lecturer at UNSW. Dr Ruan is diligent, communicates clearly, and will always prioritise patient care.
