Dr Simon Nothling is a fellowship trained Medical Retina and Uveitis Subspecialist with an interest in Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Uveitis, Retinal Vascular disease, cataracts and general ophthalmology.
Dr Nothling graduated from UNSW in 2001 with First Class Honours and completed general Ophthalmic training at the Sydney Eye Hospital in 2013. He also embarked on a 1 year fellowship in Medical Retina & Uveitis at the world-famous Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, where he was involved in many large international clinical trials.
Dr Nothling worked for several years as a Senior House Officer in Neurology and Neuro-Ophthalmology in the UK prior to his Ophthalmic training. He has a passion for rural Ophthalmology and also works as a VMO at Broken Hill Hospital, where he is a cataract surgeon and medical retina specialist.
